A Few of the Reasons Why Homeowners in East Tennessee Hire Professional Art Installers

We've discovered that the homes in East Tennessee often have architectural features that can make installing artwork more challenging than it might be in a conventional home. Mountain and lake properties almost always have tall stone fireplaces and large stairwells which require large art in order to match the scale of the home. Large paintings, mirrors and other substantial pieces can require more than a picture hook and a ladder, particularly when artwork needs to be positioned high above furniture, fireplaces or stairways.

Many of the custom homes in the region also incorporate wood paneling, textured walls and other distinctive finishes which require careful consideration in order to install the art without damaging the substrate.

And proper installation isn't just about getting something securely onto the wall. Placement, scale, spacing and alignment all affect how the artwork relates to the architecture and furnishings around it. Whether you're hanging a single statement piece or completing an entire house, working with our in-house art consultant helps ensure that your collection is thoughtfully arranged.

Many homeowners in the Tellico Lake, Townsend and Knoxville areas also maintain second homes, vacation properties or seasonal residences. If you're not at the house when artwork arrives, having a professional installer who can work directly with your interior designer or property manager can make the final stages of a project much easier. We can install an entire collection, handle large and heavy pieces safely, and help complete a home even when the homeowner isn't there to oversee every detail.
